Used to always skip school to practice at every given
moment and progressed thru the various stages of mixing, scratching
and turntablism and went on to showcase this in various underground
clubs in the UK as well as at the Notting Hill Carnival.
nb - I've become a little more rusty with age, but I still got
lots of tricks up my sleeve.
During the late 80s I was taken aback by the early Chicago House
scene, which is where "house music was born" for me and since then
have never looked back. I have followed it right the way through
from Acid, Old Skool, Tech, Funky and onto the sweet sounds of Deep.
I'm always upfront with what's available musicwise and like to
blend the old with the new when mixing if I can. Most of what I play
you might've heard, but I do like to keep to that Deep Underground
sound.
I can NEVER buy enough music and will be moving in 2008 to
accommodate more space to run my business and of course, to expand
my pure vinyl music collection.
